Horseback Riding to Cas en Bas
A ride on the wild side of the north. The trail winds through open countryside down to Cas en Bas, a long Atlantic beach where the horses walk straight into the sea.
The one-hour ride takes you along the trail to Cas en Bas and back, in the saddle the whole way, with the breeze off the Atlantic for company. First time on a horse? That is fine, the pace is easy and a guide rides with you.
With two hours you get into the water. Ride down to the beach, swim with your horse in the shallows and have your photos taken, then ride back.
The four-hour version makes a day of it. After the ride and the swim, there is a barbecue on the beach with two beers and water each, so you can stay on the sand for as long as you like.
